Traditional helicopters have a thing called a flybar which is a mechanical stabilizer with a lot of moving parts. To keep things short the V400D02 is now flybarless which has the mechanical stabilizer removed and instead have been replaced with the state of the art Walkera 3-Axis gyro system and flybarless technology. The main advantage of being "flybarless" is there are less moving parts and allows slightly longer flight times all while having the same stability as a flybar setup.
The 6 channel Walkera V400D02 comes pre-adjusted out of the box so there is no guess work on how to properly setup the helicopter. Just provide your own Devo transmitter and program it with the settings provided from the manual and your good for the first flight.
