This War-Bird is modeled after the original P-40 Warhawk. It first flew in 1938 and was mainly used by the United States Army Air Corps and the Allied powers during World War II. It remained in the front line service until the end of the war. The Warhawk proved to be an asset to the Allied powers and was a major factor of the outcome of World War II. The P-40 Warhawk is popular and used in famous movies such as ?Flying Tiger?, ?Pearl Harbor?, and ?Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow?.
AIRFIELD designed this plane to look just like the original P-40 Fighter. It is painted with fine detail to look just like the fighters that fought for the World?s freedom.
This upgraded version comes with flaps also(2 servos) so it gives the Warbird extra lift. It creates a drag so it slows down the plane for easier and more maneuvers. Perfect for more advanced fliers!
